Thien Mu Pagoda
- 08h00 AM: Our tour guide and driver from Proud Vietnam will pick you up at the meeting point in Hue city center. Then, head to Thien Mu Pagoda - one of the oldest and most sacred pagodas in Hue city. It is situated on Ha Khe hill, on the north bank of the Perfume River, in Huong Long village, 5 kilometers from Hue city, which is easy to reach from the city center. - Afterwards, stop by local souvenir shops and enjoy some Hue specialities along the way to the Imperial City.
Hue Imperial City (The Citadel)
- 09h30 AM: Continue to visit Hue Imperial Citadel - the home of Vietnam's last royal dynasty where to see the living, working, worshiping, and relaxing areas of 13 Emperors of Vietnam during the feudal period including landmarks such as: Ngo Mon Nine Dinh Thai Hoa Palace Purple Forbidden Citadel Kien Trung Palace
Museum of Royal Antiquities
-10h30 AM: After exploring the Citadel, visit the Museum of Royal Antiquities, located within the Imperial City. Established in 1923, it was originally named Musée Khai Dinh, and has since undergone five name changes – including Hue Museum of Ancient Art (from 1947, under the Central Mortgage Council). - 11h30 AM: Enjoy a lunch of Hue specialities at a local restaurant.
