Do you like cooking and would you like to discover Hungary through gastronomy?
I am a professional chef and would be happy if I share everything with you about Hungarian cuisine.
I love cooking and eating great food. It is fantastic when my kitchen is full of life: somebody is chopping onions, someone else is preparing the meat or is kneading dough and we are talking, laughing and the smell of the food fills the whole place.
While you are in Budapest, come, cook together and enjoy this unique atmosphere in the centre.
This 100‹% hands-on cooking class gives you a memorable experience.
If you do not have enough time to make a full 3-course menu with me, please look for my culinary program, called: "Hungarian Cooking Class with Iconic Dishes" and here, let’s make one of the most famous Hungarian dish and learn about local ingredients, Hungarian cuisine, custom, and everyday life.

Menu options - please, choose only ONE: Menu A: Cold sour cherry soup, Chicken paprikas with dumplings, Gundel pancake Menu B: Creamy green peas soup, Beef stew with dumplings, Sweet cottage cheese ball Menu C: Goulash soup (beef meat), Savoury pancake Hortobagy style (chicken), Gerbeaud layered cake Menu D: Chicken soup with tarragon, Hungarian stuffed paprika with tomato sauce (pork meat), Appel Strudel (by filo dough) Menu E: Creamy potato soup with smoked sausage, Stuffed cabbage (pork meat), Poppy-seed bread dumplings + vanilla custard
I don't think I need to introduce this dish because everyone knows it. A soup with beef meat and different root vegetables... Sound good, doesn't it?
I can recommend this dish because it is tasty, light and trendy. Tradition and new way on one plate.
This is an iconic dessert is Hungary. It is a layered cake with ground walnuts, apricot jam and dark chocolate. Yummy!
During the cooking you can taste the local ingredients (different paprikas, sausage, cheese) and learn about these.
