Thien An Monastery
Thien An Monastery is a rare Catholic monastery with Asian architecture. With an idyllic and ancient beauty, it is located on the green pine, year-round cool breeze. This place has become an indispensable tourist destination in the dreamy journey to explore Hue of many tourists. Thuy Bieu Village: Although situated in the heart of Hue city, Thuy Bieu Village brings an appearance of a peaceful village with fragrant Thanh Tra pomelo gardens and hundreds years old of Zen houses (called Nha Ruong in Vietnamese). Visiting a incense making family to discover and experience the daily life of local people and painting family to see the countryside painting art of the young local artists. Enjoy a local lunch, this is one of the garden houses in Luong Quan village, Thuy Bieu. The dishes are made with clean materials from the local through skillful hands of Hue women. You will be instructed to make Thanh Tra jam. Thuy Bieu Village which is very famous for Thanh Tra fruit, one kind of pomelo.
Tam Giang Lagoon
Go to visit Uncle Ho’s memorial house in Duong No village - This is the house where President Ho Chi Minh lived with his father and elder brother from 1898 to 1900. Approximately 12km from the center of Hue city, lead to Thuan An Beach and to Tam Giang bridge with Ru Cha mangroves. This is a primeval forest with an area of about 4 hectares, existing more than 100 years ago. 15:00: Get on boat (sampan) and cruise to Sam, Chuon area to start your trip on Tam Giang Lagoon - the largest brackish water lagoon in Southeast Asia and have a chance to discover the biggest part of Tam Giang Lagoon. On the late afternoon, this is the wonderful moments to take your photos. Floating on the water, you will have time to see the changes of time and life as well as the local life of fishing village. An interesting to play kayaking on the lagoon and visit "Cho house", nò, sáo… 16:30: Enjoy a seafood dinner at Chuon Lagoon with local specialties “Seafood pancake with “Kinh” and Chuon wine of soaked crab”. 17:30: Boat takes you around the lagoon to see sunset. Finish the tour and back to the hotel.
