A walk through history! Cabril is a parish entirely inserted in the Peneda-Gerês National Park. The daily life of its people has always been linked to living with the mountain.
This is a walk through history from the 40s of the 20th century where mining, smuggling and coal were the main economic activities of an isolated population.
Hike through the Serra do Gerês, lunch based on local products. Throughout the day we will be surprised by the exuberant landscapes of the Gerês mountain range. Landscapes sometimes enriched with grazing animals and we will understand the arduous living conditions of generations before ours. We will walk along trails that were trodden by our grandparents, where each piece of stone is a story, each source of pure water an inspiration. The walk is guided by a local guide, descended from men and women who left us a legacy that we want to share with you. Come with an open mind for an unforgettable experience.
