Atomic Bomb Dome
The Atomic Bomb Dome, originally the Hiroshima Prefectural Industrial Promotion Hall, stands as a symbol of peace and a reminder of the devastating atomic bombing of Hiroshima on August 6, 1945. It is one of the few structures left standing near the bomb’s epicenter and has been preserved in its ruined state to promote nuclear disarmament and global peace efforts. Today, it forms part of the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park
Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park offers travelers a chance to witness the iconic Atomic Bomb Dome, a UNESCO World Heritage site.
