Temple of Hatshepsut at Deir el Bahari
The Temple of Hatshepsut at Deir el-Bahari is a magnificent funerary temple located on the west bank of the Nile River in Luxor, Egypt. Built during the Eighteenth Dynasty of Egypt, the temple was commissioned by Hatshepsut, one of the few female pharaohs in ancient Egyptian history, to commemorate her reign and to serve as her final resting place. The temple is notable for its unique architecture, which includes several terraces built into the side of a cliff, as well as the use of pink and white limestone in its construction.
Valley of the Kings
The Valley of the Kings is a historic site in Egypt located on the west bank of the Nile River in Luxor.
