Half-day wine tour of the Medoc

Enjoy a half-day excursion from Bordeaux to the Medoc wine region discovering beautiful chateaux and learning about the mythical appellations that made the reputation of the Bordeaux wines.

You'll leave Bordeaux and drive towards the “Chateau Route” of the Medoc. The guide will provide you with all the information about the Bordeaux and Medoc wine region. Later, you'll visit a Great Classified Growth estate (Chateau Marquis de Terme, Chateau Dauzac or another venue). Visit the vineyards, the vat room and the cellars of one of the most prestigious chateaux of Bordeaux. Enjoy some explanations about their wine-making process, from the vine to the bottle. Finish the visit with a tasting of the estate’s wines while enjoying an aperitif with French delicacies (cheese, fresh bread).

You'll then enjoy a sightseeing tour to see the most beautiful chateaux of Médoc. Your guide will make a quick stop in Château Margaux, which is the most famous chateau of the Medoc. You'll finish the day with a last tasting in a family-run estate winery with French delicacies to pair with it (cheese, dry ham, dark chocolate, baguette).
