The guide will lead you to explore the Archeological Museum of the Ancient Palestrina housed into the splendid Palazzo Barberini. The museum houses a remarkable collection of archaeological remains from the ancient Prenestae. The most important is the hellenistic Mosaic of the Nile opera of the great artist from Alexandria of Egypt.
Castel San Pietro Romano
We will visit the splendid Medieval village of Castel San Pietro Romano. The village located on the Acropolis of the ancient Palestrina has beatiful stone houses and churches and a wonderfull panoramic view over the opposite valley . The most remakable monument is the Castle of the Colonna family.
