Pickup included
Your Ourika day trip begins with a 9 am pickup from your hotel or Riad in Marrakech by a friendly, professional driver/guide. You'll head toward the peaceful Ourika Valley, leaving the city behind as you drive through the scenic High Atlas, passing Berber clay houses and green valleys. The first stop is Tnin Ourika village, where you can explore the traditional Monday market. Then visit an Argan oil cooperative to learn how Morocco’s famous “liquid gold” is made, used in both cooking and cosmetics. You’ll also stop for photos, take a short walk in a village, or visit a local Berber family home. Next, arrive at Setti Fatma, a village at 1500m altitude at the foot of the Atlas Mountains. Here, a local guide will lead you on an easy walk through village paths and trails, sharing insights into Berber life. The highlight is reaching the seven beautiful waterfalls, where you can relax or dip into the cool mountain water. After the walk, enjoy a delicious lunch at a riverside restaurant, with Moroccan dishes and Swahili-inspired flavors served in a warm, welcoming setting. Your day ends with a 1 hour 15 min drive back to Marrakech, with drop-off at your accommodation around 5 pm.
