— What You Can Expect —

Join one of the best-selling day tours of the Golden Circle which comprises some of the most scenic attractions of Iceland. There is an audio guide available in ten languages. See the world-famous Geysir and witness the magnificent Gullfoss Waterfall. Visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Þingvellir National Park, and end your day with a spectacular horse riding experience through meadows and lava fields.

The tour is for 11 hours, including a minimum 30-minute stop at the Geysir Hot Springs, Gullfoss Waterfall, and Þingvellir National Park. In Geysir and Gullfoss there are shops where you can buy food and drinks.

  • Þingvellir National Park

Discover the flora and fauna of the Þingvellir National Park. Located on the northern shores of Þingvallavatn (Iceland's largest lake), Þingvellir (anglicized as 'Thingvellir') is the national pride of Iceland and our first national park. It is a key location in Icelandic history as the oldest existing parliament in the world, which was first assembled in 930 AD. For this reason, Þingvellir has been designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is, therefore a protected national park due to its unique geological and natural features. From the viewing area, the Almannagjá Canyon between the two tectonic plates can be seen as a visual representation of continental drift. Walk through the park and use the restroom if needed.

  • Geysir Hot Springs

Stop at one of the most favourite attractions of the Golden Circle, the highly active Geysir Hot Springs. Marvel at boiling mud pits and the lively Strokkur geyser which spouts water 30 meters (100 ft) into the air every few minutes. Along the tour, the newly opened Geysir Center offers guests and travellers a chance to use the restroom and catch some refreshments as well as lunch.

  • Gullfoss Waterfall

Witness the powerful Gullfoss Waterfall which is located at the canyon of Hvítá River in the southwest part of the country. It is one of the top tourist attractions in Iceland. The beautiful Hvítá River rushes southward in three steps into a narrow canyon with a breathtaking roar and grandeur. Guests may use the restroom and purchase food and refreshments at this location as well.

  • Eldhestar Riding Center

Saddle up for a 1-hour horse ride at Eldhestar, where you will have the chance to come closer to these majestic animals. Children can be led by staff at Eldhester if needed. Enjoy the day with Iceland's famous and charming animal.
