Spier Wine Farm
The day commences with a stop at Spier Wine Estate for a wine tasting for the adults and a grape juice tasting for the younger ones. The estate boasts an array of activities including the Eagle Encounters which may be visited at an extra cost.
Whilst the adults enjoy a wine tasting with a culinary treat, the kids can have a good time too. The little ones can play in the sandpit, feed the farm animals, enjoy the open space on the kick bikes or braai their own marshmallows whilst enjoying their Kiddies snack box. Lunch may be enjoyed here at Middelvlei
Spice Route Destination
Continue to the Paarl wine region for a visit to Spice Route and a tasting of their flagship red blend, a chocolate and confectionary tasting (for the kids) and to explore the family-friendly estate. Other estate facilities include a craft brewery for an ultra-slick beer tasting, Wilderer distillery for grappa, an art gallery, a glass-blowing studio, a biltong bar, kids play area, underground tasting room …and more!
