We will walk past the imposing Basilica of Santa Croce, admiring its magnificent marble façade and the vast square in front of it. Here, we’ll delve into the history of this iconic site and share stories about Calcio Storico Fiorentino, the city’s centuries-old and adrenaline-filled traditional game, which takes place right in this square. Along the way, we’ll also have the chance to see one of Florence’s famous buchette del vino, the small historic wine windows once used to serve wine directly to passersby. A stop here is optional, but it’s a unique opportunity to experience a fascinating piece of Florentine history.

Via de' Neri

Welcome to Via dei Neri, the undisputed street food paradise of Florence and home to the world-famous All’Antico Vinaio. This lively and flavorful street is a must-visit for food lovers, where the aromas of freshly prepared specialties fill the air. Here, we’ll make our first delicious stop, indulging in some of Florence’s most traditional bites. Get ready to taste authentic local delicacies, including the legendary lampredotto, a true symbol of Florentine street food.
