This immersive tea ceremony experience offers a rare opportunity to explore Japan’s timeless culture in an intimate and serene setting. What to Expect In this 60-minute session, you will: Be welcomed into a traditional tea room designed in the sukiya-zukuri style. Learn the history and meaning behind the Japanese tea ceremony (茶道 / sadō) from a certified tea master. Watch a live demonstration of the omotenashi spirit through the elegant ritual of tea-making. Enjoy two servings of freshly whisked matcha (powdered green tea), paired with seasonal Japanese sweets (wagashi). Try making and serving tea yourself, guided step-by-step — no prior experience needed.
