From your accommodation facility we will begin our journey to Etna! We will first reach Zafferana to learn about the lava flow that threatened the town, and then relax on the farm where a tasting of typical Etna products such as oil, wine and honey awaits us. From a panoramic point of rare beauty we will discover the majestic Valle del Bove, the enormous caldera of the volcano, which we will observe from above. We will move towards the southern side of the volcano to explore one of the most beautiful lava flow caves of Etna which we can visit in total safety with helmets and torches provided by the guide. Finally we will reach the Silvestri Craters at an altitude of 2,000m, 5 extinct craters similar to a lunar landscape, around which we will be able to walk and admire the sea, the Gulf and the city of Catania illuminated by the light of the sunset. A unique experience in the world! You will discover the secrets and geological characteristics of the volcano, together with our local Nature Guides with a degree in Geological Sciences.
