Available only during August to September
Meet us at 6:30am at the Tourist Pier Park in Puerto López. Our bilingual biologists will introduce you to whale behavior before taking you to coastal viewing points where you'll use binoculars to observe humpback whale mothers and calves during their most active morning hours. Learn to identify individual whales by their markings and help document their behaviors as part of our educational research program. After two hours, we'll return to enjoy a traditional fish ceviche with peanut sauce and lime at a local hut - a typical Ecuadorian coastal dish. You can also request portions to take away if you wish. This small-group program (max 10 people) led by specialized marine biologists combines scientific learning and authentic local cuisine in a respectful, educational format perfect for wildlife enthusiasts.
