Leaving Agia Anna Port of Naxos, we will sail along Naxos West coast and after 1,5 hours we will reach Agios Sozon. There you will have the opportunity to swim and visit the Agios Sozon Chapel, a wave swept chapel literally built on the edge of the cliff with an interesting history. Next stop is Rina's Cave where you can swim in the cave, dive from above if you are adventurous enough, step at the nearby pebble beach.... A magnificent location only approached by sea. Nearby we will have a BBQ lunch break on board with a variety of Greek traditional delicacies, with vegetarian options accompanied with local wine . refreshments and water. After lunch time to relax at Spedo Beach with its golden sand and crystal clear waters. Last but not least stop will be Panpormos Beach located at the southeast part of Naxos where you wil have plenty of time for swimming, snorkelling and of course relaxing.
A few kilometers away from the bright blue waters of Agiassos bay in the southwest part of Naxos, one can encounter the seemingly-hanging whitened chapel of Agios Sozon. Traditionally regarded as the protector of sailors, Agios Sozon's worship is celebrated in the villages of the mainland and coastal regions. His name translates into Greek as "savior". Sailors often invoke him to save them from rough seas, saying "Holy Savior, save us!"
Rina Cave is located by an unspoiled beach with exotic green waters, in the Kalandos area, on the island’s southern coast. The cave, which lies to the right side of the beach, features some bird nests while a spring offering fresh water lies to the left-hand side of the cave.
Located on the island’s southern coast, Spedo beach on Naxos island is a an unspoiled beach with immaculately clean waters in an area graced by rare natural beauty. Ideal for tranquility and isolation.
