When you travel do you just follow the itinerary that you organized beforehand, or just roam around and take photos? You read about the monuments, but never learn their true stories.
That's why you need me, a licensed local guide, to teach you about all the secrets our monuments and landmarks hide, to show you why our city is known for its history and heritage, and even to show you some of our hidden gems you would probably never stumble upon by yourself.
Take a walk with me through medieval limestone streets of the Old Town, and let's travel back in time together!
We will stop here to learn more about the water supply background of Onofrio's fountain and what it meant for the people back then. Surrounding the fountain you will see St. Saviour Church, Franciscan Monastery, St. Claire's Convent and you will learn what we've been hiding in those couple of centuries old buildings.
In the beginning of the main street Stradun, we will take a little detour and go see the remains of one of the first orphanages and what led to it being built. After that you will learn a little bit about the Stradun and its surroundings.
On the way to this favourite local's spot you will learn more about the Old Port of Dubrovnik and forts surrounding it, shipbuilding, breakwater, one of the first quarantines and about our beautiful island Lokrum.
You will make your own way to the meeting points
