The highlight of this trip is a visit to Andasibe-Mantadia National Park, specifically the Analamazaotra Reserve. We’ll spend around four hours exploring the park, with the main attraction being the "Indri" (or "Babakoto" in Malagasy), the largest lemur species in Madagascar. Along the way, we'll also encounter a variety of wildlife, including chameleons, snakes, birds, and other lemur species.
The second highlight of the day trip to Andasibe is a visit to a unique lemur reserve. This location offers an up-close opportunity to spot lemurs and observe these fascinating animals in a more intimate setting. The reserve, an artificial habitat for the lemurs, is owned and maintained by the Vakona Hotel in Andasibe.
