We will travel to the city of Humahuaca, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, in the province of Jujuy, near the Bolivian border. This excursion allows us to appreciate the vibrant colors of Northern Argentina, its culture, unique towns, and people.
Departing from Salta, we take RN 9 and enter General Güemes via RN 34. Then, we head into Jujuy, visiting the stunning Quebrada de Humahuaca, home to the majestic Cerro de los 7 Colores. We continue through Tilcara, Humahuaca, Uquía, Huacalera (where we cross the Tropic of Capricorn), and finally, La Paleta del Pintor in Maimará.
In Humahuaca, our longest stop, you can enjoy regional dishes featuring llama meat and explore the town where culture fills the streets. This town is the epicenter of Carnival celebrations. After lunch, we begin our return journey with several stops for walking and photography.
Throughout the tour, we will have multiple stops to walk and take photos, ensuring you capture the beauty of each unique location.
