Kabira Bay

Known for its stunningly clear blue waters, Kabira Bay is one of Japan’s most scenic spots and has been selected as one of the "100 Scenic Spots of Japan." Visitors can enjoy a glass-bottom boat ride to view the colorful coral and tropical fish below.

Yonehara Beach

A serene and beautiful beach, Yonehara is famous for its crystal-clear waters and vibrant coral reefs. Snorkeling here offers a chance to swim among colorful fish and experience the tranquil underwater world.

Ishigaki Yaima Village

Yaima Village is a theme park located on Ishigaki Island where visitors can experience the traditional culture and lifestyle of the Yaeyama Islands. The park features replicas of old-style houses with red-tiled roofs and Okinawan architecture, offering insights into the region’s historical way of life and customs. Visitors can also participate in hands-on activities such as making shisa (guardian lion statues) or crafting brown sugar. Additionally, there’s an area where you can interact with squirrel monkeys. It's a popular spot to enjoy both the history and nature of the Yaeyama region.
