Your morning starts with morning pickup from your Marrakech accommodation. Travel to a Berber produce market in an air-conditioned minivan, and choose fresh ingredients for your meal of tajine or couscous (vegetarian options are available). Drive into the foothills of the High Atlas Mountains, where you meet a Local guide to Prepare a hearty lunch using recipes that have passed from generation to generation of Berbers. Cook using earthenware tajine dishes over a majmar, a charcoal-burning brazier. Sit down to the 3-course meal that you’ve prepared with the local guide using aromatic spices and local produce, then spend the afternoon learning about daily life in a Berber household. Find out how the family prepares sweetened glasses of mint tea, bakes bread in a traditional oven, and milks their cows. At the end of the day make the return trip to Marrakech, with evening drop-off at your hotel.
