Past the vineyards, there's Kawarau Gorge and more natural wonders as you head to Old Cromwell Town. You guide will tell you all about the history of this area from the early settlers' difficulties, and how they built the town and prospered through gold mining. As you walk through the historic streets, themed GPS headsets are provided that allow you to feel as though the town has come back to life as you learn about the different areas.
