Gendarmenmarkt
Gendarmenmarkt, located in the historical heart of Berlin, is one of the city’s most beautiful squares, flanked by the stunning architecture of the Konzerthaus and the twin churches: the French Cathedral (Französischer Dom) and the German Cathedral (Deutscher Dom). A historic fact about Gendarmenmarkt is that it was designed in the late 17th century and has played a significant role in Berlin's cultural and political history ever since. A great spot to take a selfie is in front of the majestic Konzerthaus, particularly when it's illuminated at night, providing a dramatic backdrop with its classical facade and graceful columns.
Alexanderplatz
Alexanderplatz is a major public square and transport hub in the central Mitte district of Berlin, famously known as "Alex" to Berliners. Originally a cattle market in the Middle Ages, Alexanderplatz gained its current name in honor of a visit by the Russian Emperor Alexander I in 1805.
