Located in the heart of Barranco, this charming park features a central pond, marble statues imported from Italy, and a small stage for public festivities. Surrounded by colonial architecture, it’s a perfect spot to relax and soak in the bohemian atmosphere of the district.
Puente de los Suspiros
Built in 1876, this iconic wooden bridge is one of Barranco’s most famous landmarks. It spans the Bajada de Baños, a stone walkway leading to the Pacific Ocean. Legend has it that those who hold their breath while crossing the bridge will have their wishes granted.
Iglesia La Ermita de Barranco
This small adobe church, dating back to the 18th century, is situated near the Plaza in Barranco. Although it’s not in great shape, it holds historical significance and is worth a quick look if you’re in the area.
