Marrakech
In the company of a knowledgeable driver and a local guide, take in the sights of some of the most picturesque valleys in the High Atlas Mountains region on a daylong excursion that departs from Marrakech. We pick up you from your local hotel.
Ourika Valley
To begin, you will be able to take in the breathtaking views as you make your way to Ourika valley. Take a walk into the woods for an hour and a half to view some breathtaking waterfalls and scenery. You'll encounter Berber ladies at several points along the journey harvesting the one-of-a-kind argan oil.
Continue on to the next valley, which is called Oukaimden, and follow a mountain road that winds its way up to an altitude of 1800 meters above sea level. You'll get a glimpse into the everyday lives of the local Berber people as you go through a number of typical Berber communities built from adobe and stones.
