What's included in Art & Mezcal
(Subject to Option Inclusions)Beginning at the heart of the city, the Zócalo, we’ll take a scenic walk to a local art gallery. Here, you’ll dive into the ancient craft of wood engraving, learning the technique and creating your very own piece of art. After about an 2.5 hours of hands on artistry, you’ll have the opportunity to tour the gallery and, purchase a one-of-a-kind work from talented local artists. From there, we’ll stroll to a hidden speakeasy in the city’s historic center. Inside, a top-rated local bartender will teach you the art of crafting Oaxaca’s most famous cocktails, focusing on mezcal. You’ll learn how to mix the perfect drink while sipping on mezcal from the region’s best distilleries. Whether you’re a cocktail aficionado or a beginner, this hands-on workshop will leave you with new skills. The experience will end at the speakeasy, where you’re welcome to stay and enjoy the ambiance.
