Aquila Safari offers a fantastic opportunity to see the Big 5 and experience the beauty of the African bush. Please note that the entrance ticket to the reserve is not included in the tour price. This ticket must be paid directly at the Aquila office on the morning of the safari which is about R1890 pp. Embark on a 2-3 hour game drive in a 4x4 safari vehicle with a knowledgeable ranger, chance to see the Big 5: lions, leopards, rhinoceros, elephants, and buffalo and other wildlife sightings include giraffes, zebras, and various antelopes. After the game drive, enjoy a buffet lunch at the lodge with a variety of local and international dishes, often prepared with fresh, local ingredients .Before the game drive, you might be taken to a nearby vineyard or enjoy a curated wine-tasting ,The tasting typically features a selection of South African wines, including reds, whites, and possibly some sparkling wines. Upon arriving at Aquila Game Reserve, guests will be greeted with a welcome drink before being escorted to the restaurant for a full breakfast buffet with halal and vegetarian options. After breakfast, we will depart on a 2-3 hour shared safari game drive led by an experienced ranger who will share fascinating stories and information about the reserve and its wildlife as we spot animals along the way. When we return from the African bush safari, guests can enjoy another full buffet lunch with halal and vegetarian options in the restaurant. After lunch, guests are welcome to unwind on the terrace, lounge by the pool, or have a drink at the bar
On our way back to Cape Town, enjoy a complimentary cheese and wine tasting at Fairview Wine and Cheese estate.
