How to Get Around

This is not your average food tour. It’s the ultimate two part Amsterdam experience. First, you'll join this award winning, locally run 10 Tastes Food Tour with just 10 guests max, a passionate guide, and handpicked tastings that go far beyond the clichés (yes, you will be spoiled with warm stroopwafels, aged Gouda, jenever, and the best herring in town).

Then, after a little break to digest, you’ll hop on a comfy open boat run by Flagship Amsterdam, one of the city’s top-rated canal cruise companies. Your guide hands things over here, and one of Flagship’s cheerful skippers takes the wheel. You’ll join a cosy group of about 20 fellow floaters, for a "gezellig" , open air cruise. It’s a laid back, scenic ride through Amsterdam’s famous UNESCO canals , the perfect way to toast the city and take in its 17th-century charm, drink in hand.

Itinerary

Start your culinary journey in the vaulted cellar of a century old canal house, where you kick things off with a bold Dutch classic: a guided tasting of aged Gouda cheeses paired with dutch local liquor or port wine. Welcome to the cheese kingdom!

Ready for some Dutch sashimi? Try the Netherlands' most iconic bite: fresh herring, sliced and served with pickles and onions. At a family owned business for more then 50 years!

Step into a 200 year old bakery that’s been perfecting Amsterdam’s most Instagrammed treat: the stroopwafel. Watch as dough meets caramel syrup on a sizzling iron and enjoy it warm, gooey, and straight off the press. Warning: one bite may ruin all supermarket stroopwafels forever.
