Later, the complex served as a British military base, a Haganah base, and the government offices of the early State of Israel and Israel Defense Forces (IDF) chief of staff HQ in Tel Aviv.
Today, Sarona is an exceptionally designed open public space, with beautiful regentrified architecture & landscapes, upscale commercial spaces, quaint cafes, and a unique indoor market.

You'll explore the restored homes of the original Templer community, hear the stories of early pioneers and innovation, see the old wine cellars and tunnel (pending availability), and engage with the challenges of preservation versus development in Israel's most dynamic city.
