Lima's (and Peru's) most artistic, magical, and bohemian town is without question, Barranco. It has all the elements: a whimsical story behind its foundation, celebrated artists who found inspiration in their streets, theaters, carnivals, and the perfect view of the south pacific sunset. My proposal for our night it's to visit 3 different bars, to enjoy Barranco's modern nightlife as if we were those artists who had been choosing this town as their refugee, using storytelling along with cultural exchange as the pillars of our night.
Barranco's most amazing fact it's that in their streets, people had found a place to be themselves. As a true born and raised local artist, I have been able to explore that side of Barranco's vibe myself, and it has been my pleasure to create on my tours a place for the special souls who yearn to have meaningful lives and craves real connections. To the travelers of galaxies, to the wanderers of worlds, to the seekers of humanity: Welcome to my home!
Our night would start at the heart of Barranco's cultural and bohemian life, I would welcome you all and would introduce some of my neighborhood story and background of its real Bohemian Spirit.
1st Bar - The Tradition of the Bohemian District: This is my all-time favorite, not only it's the oldest of them all, but it also has been the bar of choice for many generations of artists, here the story of our night would begin. We would share a cold local beer, in the house, and start to know each other.
2nd Bar-Either tropical or fancy converted house Depending on our story, our night could go either to a very tropical bar with very colorful and strong cocktails. Or to a converted traditional house with a fancy colorful setting, I would choose based on our conversation and shared interests which of those two bars would follow our story of the night.
You will make your own way to the meeting points
