  • Day 1
    Depart from Inverness on a picturesque journey to the Isle of Skye, with stops at Achnasheen and Loch Carron, leading to the historic Dunvegan Castle, steeped in over 800 years of family heritage. Explore the Quiraing, Kilt Rock, Lealt Falls, and the iconic Old Man of Storr before concluding the day in the charming Portree for a delightful overnight stay.
  • Day 2
    After breakfast, embark on a journey from Portree to the enchanting Fairy Pools, known for their magical charm and surrounded by mystery and myths; be sure to bring your walking boots for an immersive experience. Take leisurely stops at picturesque Sligachan and Sconser, and then proceed to Broadford for lunch, keeping an eye out for wildlife such as otters, seals, and even killer whales, which have been spotted in the past. Next on the itinerary is the iconic Eilean Donan Castle, situated on its own island at the head of Loch Duich, providing an opportunity to explore the atmospheric surroundings and capture stunning photographs. Conclude the adventure by returning to Inverness via the scenic town of Fort Augustus, where you can enjoy breathtaking views of Loch Ness, the legendary home of Nessie.

  1. Children under age 4 are not allowed to join the tour.
  2. Eilean Donan Castle interior closed in winter.
  3. While the package includes booking options for accommodation, the price does not cover lodging, allowing you the flexibility to choose based on your budget. The tour cost encompasses the services of a friendly, knowledgeable Driver-Guide and transportation on our luxury, modern, air-conditioned coaches.
  4. Pay for accommodation directly at check-in. We suggest preparing GBP75 per person per night in cash, as many Bed and Breakfasts may not accept cards. Note that rates vary by provider and season; we can provide an estimate until booking confirmation.
  5. Estimated rates are as follows:
    - Youth Hostel: GBP18.00-25.00 per person per night
    - B&B: GPB45.00-75.00 per person per night
    - Hotel: From GPB75.00+ per person per night
  6. All hotels require credit card information in order to secure a booking. If you wish us to reserve a hotel room for you, we will contact you for your budget and credit card details. Please note a single room supplement may apply.
  7. What is the difference between a Hostel, B&B and Hotel?
    Hostels are budget accommodations. Many hostels have kitchen facilities where customers can prepare their own food. B&B's are privately owned Guesthouses. Guests are given breakfast (continental or full, depending on the B&B) but cannot prepare their own food. Hotels are the most expensive choice of accommodation. Rooms come with a full breakfast (unless stated), and guests cannot prepare their own food.
  8. How much luggage can I bring?
    Luggage is restricted to one medium-sized suitcase per person. For guidance: a medium-sized suitcase is 60-69 cm high and roughly 45 cm wide. If you have more luggage than this, you can store your surplus bags with Unbaggaged (additional charges apply). Unbaggaged will collect your bags at a time and place convenient to you! They then store them at a secure central location and return them to you, again, wherever and whenever you like!
