Day 1: pyramids of Giza & Saqqara & Dahshur First of all, your expert tour guide will be waiting for you at your hotel, ready to welcome you to Egypt and start your tour. At the first stop, you will be amazed by the Great Pyramids of Egypt, an Ancient Wonder of the World. Where you will visit and capture panoramic views of the legendary Pyramids of Giza, the Great Sphinx, the Valley Temple, and many other impressive photo opportunities. At the next stop, you will visit the Zoser Step Pyramid in Saqqara. It is considered the oldest pyramid ever created, which was constructed for King Djoser with its six rectangular bases. Originally used as a burial ground during the old kingdom, makes this Pyramid a wonder to see and experience. Lastly, you will visit Dahshur, to see both the Red and Bent Pyramids. were constructed during the reign of Pharaoh Sneferu (2613-2589 BC). Meals included: • Lunch at a local restaurant Activity at night: Sound and Light Show at Giza Pyramids The Sound & Light Show is designed to tell the story of why the Pyramids were built and the relationship between the Pharaoh and his Queen and his workers. First of all, your expert tour guide will be waiting for you at your hotel, ready to welcome you to Egypt and start your tour. At the first stop, you will be amazed by the Egyptian Museum containing thousands of genuine artefacts, Statues and a priceless collection of Egyptian art. The most incredible being the full exhibit of King Tutankhamun, including the gold treasures found in his tomb in 1920. At the next stop, you will visit the Citadel of Salah El Din, which was constructed by Salah El Din on the Moqattam hills in 1183 AD, created as a military post to protect Cairo from conquerors. Then you will visit the stunning Mohamed Ali Alabaster Mosque, which was designed by the Turkish architect Yousif Boushnaq, the designer from Istanbul constructed this amazing Mosque for Mohamed Ali, the ruler of Egypt for more than 45 years. Then, a visit to Old Cairo to see the Abu Sirga Church, Hanging Church, and the Ben Ezra Synagogue. Lastly, you will visit Khan El Khalili, at Khan al-Khalili it is home to the coppersmiths’ market and an assortment of workshops. Further along are shops selling a miscellany of coffee-house equipment such as tin-topped tables and sheeshas, before finishing with the garlic and onion stalls near Bab al-Futuh. Activity at night: Dinner Cruise & Belly Dancing Show You will spend 2 hours cruising on the Nile while relaxing and enjoying an Open Buffet Dinner, a Traditional Tanoura Show, then the Belly Dancing Show performed by a well-known dancer in Egypt. Once the tour is complete you will be transferred in comfort back to your hotel.
