Go through Rome’s best known areas. We begin at the Colosseum. Then it’s time to head north from the Colosseum, and admire the sights along the way, including the Vittorio Emanuele II Monument, The Forum (heart of the Roman Empire 1900 years ago), and Palatine Hill.
Then, see the Piazza Novana, The Pantheon, St Maria Sopra Minerva Basilica (Michelangelo sculpture), Palazzo Cipolla, and the amazing huge baroque Trevi Fountain.
Stop and marvel at the Spanish Steps & see the famous Medici Villa. We then cross the Tiber. Bridges and sights you will see here include Ponte Sant’Angelo, Ponte Vittorio Emanuele II & the incredible Castel Sant’Angelo.
We finish the tour at Trevi Fountain.
